Here’s everything you need to know about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
The wait to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is almost over. The ride officially opens in Disney World on June 28, 2024. Still no word when the ride will open in Disneyland but they have started testing logs in the Disneyland location.

Virtual Queues
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will use a virtual queue. You can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at one of two times: 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. While a standby queue will not be available during the attraction’s initial opening days, Disney World officials say they expect to open a standby queue soon after the attraction’s opening.

Disney Genie+ service
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also be included as a Lightning Lane entrance in Disney Genie+ service. Guests may check the app on the day of their visit for pricing and availability.

New Photos
Disney PhotoPass Service will serve up a special photo as you experience the 50-foot drop on this amazing, new water ride.
You Will Get Wet
Yees, you are probably going to get wet on this ride, but there are ways to stay dry. Ponchos or Shower caps work great! I personally use the shower cap method on water rides all the time. You can see me here getting ready to experience a water ride in Disneyland using the shower cap method. My kids prefer using ponchos.
Ponchos are available at several stores at all Disney Resorts, including the Magic Kingdom, where you will ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. You can also buy affordable ones on Amazon. New Merch & Food
Starting June 28, you can grab all new merchandise for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and “The Princess and the Frog.”
Merch will be found at the Emporium and the Critter Co-Op in Frontierland.
Additionally, special beignets will be offered at Golden Oak Outpost and The Friar’s Nook.
