October dates, closest to Halloween, are the most expensive Oogie Boogie Bash tickets.
What To Expect At Oogie Boogie Bash
Oogie Boogie Bash is a separate ticketed event. California Adventure transforms into a family-friendly, frightfully fun after-hours event filled with tricks and treats! Enjoy 5 hours of mischievous fun—including special Halloween-themed entertainment, immersive treat trails, spellbinding attractions and more.
You can check out some video from past Oogie Boogie Party’s by clicking here.
The ticket to this event includes admission to Disney California Adventure Park as early as 3:00 PM. That is 3 hours before the party begins—on the valid date of your ticket. Guests with Oogie Boogie tickets do not need to make a theme park reservation to enter DCA at 3:00 PM or later. You should note that parking fees are not included in the ticket price and Disney Genie+ Service is not available during the event.
A Frightfully Fun Parade
One of the highlights of the evening is the Frightfully Fun Parade. It kicks off with the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow followed by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, dressed in colorful Halloween costumes. You’ll also see Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King, the iconic Haunted Mansion ghosts, grave diggers, popular villains like Cruella, and much more.
You can watch highlights of last year’s parade here.
Treat Trails
Come to the park hungry and with a huge treat bag because you will score treats galore at every treat trail throughout the park. Each trail lures guests deeper into the immersive worlds of the mischievous characters everyone loves to fear. It’s a howl-o-ween adventure filled with frightfully delightful fun for all ages! Trick-or-treat trails feature an assortment of candy, including M&M’S®, SKITTLES®, SNICKERS® and other Halloween favorites.
Villains Grove Is Back
The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail transforms into Villains Grove each night, as well. Some of your favorite Disney villains will turn the forest into an enchanted grove of mystical lights, sights and sounds.
Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll find this year:
- Frollo’s Sanctuary – Head into an otherworldly cathedral of trees infused with incense smells and chanting voices.
- Maleficent’s Will – Roam through a region replete with eerie ravens, thorn-spiked vines and a seemingly spellbound waterfall of cascading color!
- Queen of Hearts Garden – Wander ‘round a charming garden of roses that paint themselves red right before your eyes!
- Scar’s Elephant Graveyard – Descend into a vast expanse that echoes with hyena laughter!
- Dr. Facilier’s Friends on the Other Side – Summoned by the great beyond, shadowy hands and colorful spells lure Guests deeper into the grove’s darkest corners.
