A new Brand New Day teaser has arrived, and this one puts Spider-Man side by side with one of the most dangerous men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel Studios and Sony released a fresh look at Spider-Man: Brand New Day today featuring Tom Holland’s Peter Parker alongside Jon Bernthal’s Punisher.
Spidey Calls Out The Punisher’s Hulk Dodge
The teaser leans into the unlikely pairing with a pointed exchange between the two. When Frank Castle suggests Spider-Man contain the rampaging Hulk while he goes after the source of the chaos, the wall-crawler fires back, asking whether Frank is just trying to get out of fighting the Hulk. It is a self-aware jab at the showdown between Spider-Man and the Savage Hulk that has anchored much of the film’s marketing so far.
A Street-Level Spider-Man Story With Big Stakes
The pairing of Spider-Man and the Punisher points to the grittier, street-level tone that Marvel has been promising for this chapter of Peter Parker’s story. Bernthal’s Frank Castle has been one of the most anticipated additions to the cast since his involvement was announced, and the new footage suggests the two heroes will spend real screen time together, even if their methods could not be more different.
Anticipation for the film continues to build around the world. Pre-sale demand has been so strong that ticket sales were temporarily halted in South Korea after the film posted the best first-day pre-sales revenue for any comic book movie this decade.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters on July 31, 2026. With just under three weeks to go, expect the marketing push, and the Hulk-sized teases, to keep ramping up.
