The wait is almost over. Marvel Studios has officially announced that VisionQuest will premiere on Disney+ on October 14, 2026 — giving fans their first hard date for the long-anticipated conclusion to the WandaVision trilogy.
The date was revealed today at Disney’s 2026 Upfront presentation in New York City, where Marvel Television has historically used the annual event to drop release windows and surprises for its upcoming streaming slate.
The WandaVision Trilogy Comes to a Close
VisionQuest serves as the third and final chapter in a trilogy that began with WandaVision in 2021 and continued with Agatha All Along in 2024. The series picks up with Paul Bettany’s White Vision, who possesses his memories from the events of WandaVision but struggles to feel any emotional connection to them — setting the stage for a deeply personal identity quest.
Showrunner Terry Matalas, known for his work on Star Trek: Picard, is at the helm of VisionQuest. Marvel Studios executive Brad Winderbaum has described the show as a “love letter” to the work done in WandaVision, while promising something tonally distinct.
A Star-Studded Cast
VisionQuest features an ensemble led by Bettany that includes James Spader returning as Ultron, James D’Arcy reprising his role as J.A.R.V.I.S., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., Ruaridh Mollica as Tommy Maximoff/Speed, T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., and Todd Stashwick as Paladin. The series leans heavily into the MCU’s roster of artificial intelligences, many of whom appear in human form inside Vision’s mind.
Eight Episodes This Fall
VisionQuest will run for eight episodes, dropping on Disney+ beginning October 14. The series arrives ahead of Avengers: Doomsday, positioning it as a key piece of Phase Six’s build toward the next big-screen chapter of the MCU.
