Disneyland Mac & Cheese Review
If you love fiery and spicy treats, you’ve got to check out the Angry Red Hot Mac & Cheese. Disneyland’s newest mac & cheese will be available all summer long during Pixar Fest for $8.50 at the Hanger Management booth in DCA, right by Monster’s Inc.
This new mac & cheese has a fiery, red color and is covered in Flaming Hot Cheetos to give it more kick than most folks are expecting. I won’t lie to you, this one is spicy hot. The texture is also super creamy, which normally isn’t bad, but in this case, I didn’t love it. The creamy sauce sticks to your ribs but because it is so spicy, it’s not a good thing. If we are honest, most Disneyland Mac and Cheese dishes miss the mark and this one follows suit. Nothing about this dish works. When you think of mac and cheese you think of comforting, creamy and delicious pasta in a gooey cream. This dish will burn a hole in your gut.
A Less 🔥 Option
If you aren’t up for such a spicy dish but would like to try the angry version, consider the Mood Swing option for $9. It features a little bit of the Angry Red Mac And Cheese along with the Joyful Yellow Comforting Mac And Cheese. Fair warning, the joyful version is just blah. If you’ve ever had a Disneyland kid’s meal with mac and cheese, you’ve already experienced the joyful version.
Final Thoughts
While, I’m no fan of this Disneyland mac and cheese option, I’m not angry I tried it. (See what I did there?) It was a fun food to try celebrating Pixar Fest and of course the release of Inside Out 2. The big question is, will you try it? Let me know in the comments.
