Fantasmic! Is Back
After months of waiting, Fantasmic! returns to Disneyland May 24th and will be better than ever! The only thing you may be missing is Murphy the dragon. IYKYK. May he forever RIP!
What’s New in Fantasmic!?
The all new Fantasmic! will feature new special effects, a new battle scene between Sorcerer Mickey and Maleficent and the return of Peter Pan and Captain Hook. Also, expect to see scenes from Disney favorites like Fantasia, Aladdin, The Lion King and Tangled. The Evil Queen will also be a part of the show summoning popular villains, like Maleficent!
Where to Watch?
Disney confirmed standby viewing will be available alongside the Rivers of America. Keep in mind that you can’t start lining up more than two hours before the show starts. There will be two shows on May 24th, at 9PM and 10:30PM. Pro tip: Getting a spot on the bridge over the Pirates of the Caribbean line is usually pretty great!
Special Seating
If you want a great sport for viewing the all new Fantasmic! you may want to take advantage of a dining package. Included with your meal is a reserved viewing area where you will be able to see everything perfectly.
Dining packages are available at the Blue Bayou, River Belle Terrace and Rancho del Zocalo. You can make reservations on the Disneyland App or at disneyland.com.

The Blue Bayou Package
The Blue Bayou package includes a 4-course lunch or dinner and admission to a reserved viewing area for your choice of one of the two Fantasmic! showings.
The lunch and dinner menu options are as follows:
- Surf and Turf
- Oscar-style Filet Mignon
- Blackened Ribeye and Bourbon Shrimp
- Gumbo
- Heirloom Tomato and Watermelon Salad
- Strawberry and Pistachio Salad
This package includes a Fantastic!-inspired dessert.
Choosing this package will cost you $89 per adult and $35 per child. There is a $10 upcharge for guests who order the Oscar-style Filet Mignon or Blackened Ribeye and Bourbon Shrimp.
The River Belle Terrace Package
The River Belle Terrace offers two packages for Fantasmic! special viewings.
For the Premium Package, you choose items from their menu or special items offered only to Fantasmic! guests. Choose from items like loaded potato bites, petite New York steak and scallops, pan-roasted shrimp, chocolate rocky road cake, or white chocolate raspberry trifle.
All Dinner reservations in this package are at 7:15PM because you get to enjoy Fantasmic!’s first performance at 9PM from your table on the patio. The price is $89 per adult and $45 per child.
For the River Belle Terrace Standard Package, you’ll enjoy lunch or dinner at the restaurant and receive a voucher for special viewing of one of the evening’s Fantasmic! performances. The price of this package is $55 for adults and $30 for children. You may choose to have your lunch/brunch from 11:00 AM to 3:55 PM or dinner between 4:00 PM to 7:50 PM.
The Rancho del Zocalo Package
The Rancho del Zocalo package is the most affordable and the newest offering. Rancho del Zocalo is usually a quick service restaurant, but with this package you get a table service option. Guests will be served a 3-course meal for lunch or dinner.
The menu options for adults are:
- Chile Verde Riblet
- Sweet and Spicy Shrimp Taco
- Potato Tacos (plant-based)
- Sweet and Savory Carne Asada
Each entrée is served with Radish Slaw, Cilantro-lime Rice, Korean Potato Salad, Refried Beans, Cortadillo and a fountain beverage.
The kid’s menu options are:
- Kid’s Riblet
- Kid’s Potato Taco (plant-based)
- Kid’s Mac and Cheese
Each kid’s entrée is served with a Cuties Mandarin Orange, Cortadillo and a fountain beverage.
The price for this package is $35 per adult and $25 per child.
While this option is the most affordable, it does offer the least desirable seating in the reserved area. You will be seated on the far opposite ends of the viewing area with this package.
