New Disneyland Popcorn

Disneyland Grad Nite Popcorn

Disneyland popcorn is a classic treat but for a limited time you can get a sweet and savory version in DCA at the Pixar Pier.  This speciality popcorn is only available at the popcorn stand right in front of the Mickey Wheel. The sign says it is a Grad Nite special, so it may only be available through June.

This popcorn includes M&M’s, Peanut Butter Candies, Cookie Cereal and a spicy maple bacon. The new Disneyland snack will cost you $8.

An Honest Review

This Disneyland snack has a lot of offer if you love a good mix of sweet and salty but what really sets this apart is the spicy maple bacon.

The maple bacon has a rich maple sugar coating, but in my opinion it lacked anything spicy. I’m not a fan of spicy, so I don’t say that because it didn’t have enough heat, it simply lacked any spice at all. That said, I loved it.

The flavor combination was amazing. The only part that wasn’t needed was the cookie cereal. It reminded me of Cookie Crisp cereal and really added nothing to the sweet and savory flavor combo.

More Popcorn Options

There is another speciality popcorn available in Disneyland. This one can be found at the popcorn stand near Haunted Mansion and Harbor Galley.

This combo includes mini marshmallows, brown M&M’s, chocolate candies and Graham Cracker cereal for a s’mores taste. It’s a little cheaper than the Grad Nite Version. It’s $1.75 extra. A regular popcorn is $5.50 so your grand total is only $7.25. This one may be around a little bit longer since it does not specify it’s a Grad Nite treat.

Regardless of which one you try, I think they are definitely a fun and tasty Disney snack to try. I’ll warn you that they do come packed with mix-ins. They are not skimping on the candy at all, so it is a sugar overload. You may not be able to finish it all. My daughter and I certainly couldn’t.

So, what do you think? Will you be giving this treat a try? Let me know in the comments!
