La Cantina de San Angel, the quick-service spot on the lagoon side of EPCOT’s Mexico pavilion, has raised prices on 21 items. Sides, kids’ meals, desserts, soft drinks and frozen margaritas all cost a little more now.

The biggest jump in percentage terms is on the smallest items. A side of sour cream and a side of nacho cheese each went from $0.75 to $0.99. The one that will sting more often is the fountain drink, now $5.59, up from $4.75. A bottle of DASANI water is $4.25 and a Jarritos is $4.75, both up 50 cents.
What Changed On The Food Menu
The Nachos are now $15.95 instead of $15.75, and the Guacamole with Totopos went from $12.50 to $12.95. Sides of rice and black beans are $3.75 each, up from $3.49, fried plantains are $5.99 instead of $5.49, and a side of guacamole is $7.25 instead of $6.99.
Families will notice the kids’ menu. The Chicken Tenders, Chicken Tacos and Macaroni & Cheese all went from $9.50 to $10.25. For dessert, the Churros are $6.75, up from $6.50, and the Churro Sundae climbed from $7.99 to $8.50.
This is the second round of increases at La Cantina this month. The Tacos de Pollo and Arroz Bowls went up 20 to 50 cents earlier in October, along with several drinks, including the Mexican Red Sangria ($14.00 to $15.00), the “Top Shelf” Clásica on the Rocks ($18.50 to $19.50) and the Dos Equis draft ($12.00 to $12.50). That round came during the same stretch when thousands of Walt Disney World food prices rose across the resort.
Drinks At The Cantina
La Cantina sits right on World Showcase Lagoon, which makes it an easy stop for a frozen drink during a lap of World Showcase. The Frozen Lime Margarita and Frozen Mango Margarita are both $14.95 now, up from $14.50. The Acapulco Colada went from $17.00 to $17.50, and the Mexican Red Sangria had the biggest drink increase at a full dollar, from $15.00 to $16.00, its second $1 bump this month. The non-alcoholic La Cantina Slushy is $6.50, up from $6.00.
Most of the main plates held where they were this time. The Tacos de Barbacoa are still $16.50, the Taco Trio and Flautas de Pollo are $16.25, and the Tacos de Camarón are $16.00. The bar’s pricier drinks did not move in this round: the Churro Margarita is still $18.00, the “Top Shelf” Clásica on the Rocks is $19.50 and a Dos Equis draft is $12.50.
None of these moves is large on its own, but they add up at a counter where most guests order a plate and a drink. Tacos de Pollo ($15.95) with a fountain drink now comes to $21.54 before tax. You can see every current price on our Mexico pavilion menus page, and the full menu is also on Walt Disney World’s La Cantina de San Angel page.
