D23 has revealed a major wave of new programming details for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, taking place August 14–16, 2026 in Anaheim. The announcements cover everything from a brand-new concert experience to the largest show floor in D23 history, and fans who have been planning their event experience now have a much fuller picture of what awaits them. D23 shared the full lineup in its official announcement.
Disney Rewind Concert And Alan Menken One-Man Show
Two new entertainment experiences have been revealed. The Disney Rewind Concert is a live mixtape-style throwback celebrating Disney hits of the 1980s and 1990s, spanning Powerline, Disney Afternoon, and the Muses. The show premieres Friday, August 14 at 7:00 p.m., with an encore performance Saturday, August 15 at 6:30 p.m., performed by Broadway veterans Jared Dixon, Alyssa Fox, Arielle Jacobs, Josh Strickland, and Raena White, with special appearances by Disney Legends Bill Farmer and Jodi Benson, along with newly named 2026 Legend Susan Egan.
Separately, legendary composer Alan Menken, the eight-time Academy Award-winning songwriter whose films include The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Enchanted, Newsies, and Tangled, will perform A Whole New World Of Alan Menken, a rare one-man show on Sunday, August 16 at 6:00 p.m., offering a rare opportunity for fans to hear the stories behind some of the most beloved songs in Disney history directly from the man who wrote them.
The Show Floor: Largest In D23 History
D23 has confirmed its 2026 show floor will be the largest and most innovative in the event’s history. Highlights include a combined Pixar and Disney Animation pavilion featuring previews of Frozen 3 and Gatto, the upcoming Pixar film; the Marvel Studios TVA Experience: Your Next Assignment, a fully immersive walkthrough through the different worlds of the MCU; the Lucasfilm pavilion featuring props, costumes, and photo opportunities from current and upcoming Star Wars productions; and the Disney+ Hulu Experience, which includes a 4D theater, photo experiences, exclusive merchandise, and a collectible pin-hunting adventure.
Additionally, Mundo Pixar: The D23 Experience offers a special preview of Pixar’s globally touring exhibition, and Mickey’s Of Glendale, the exclusive Walt Disney Imagineering merchandise shop, returns with an all-new Color Block Collection and multiple other exclusive collections debuting at the event.
The Disney Experiences Auction And More Panels
A panel called The Disney Experiences Auction: Rare And Remarkable Finds has also been announced, promising unique collectibles and experiences tied to Disney Parks history. Additional panel details are still being announced in the weeks leading up to the event. D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event takes place August 14–16, 2026 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
