Runners, lace up. Hong Kong Disneyland is giving its annual running weekend a magical makeover, expanding its acclaimed 10K Weekend into the brand new Magic Run Fest, presented by AIA Vitality. The park announced that the running festival will take place on November 28 and 29, 2026, with public registration opening on July 29.
A Zootopia 10K Headlines Four Themed Races
This year’s lineup includes the Zootopia 10K and the Pixar 5K on the longer end, along with the returning Duffy and Friends 3K and Frozen 3K, with presenting sponsor AIA Vitality providing prizes for winners. Runners will make their way through the park while being cheered on by Disney Friends along the route, a signature touch that has made Hong Kong Disneyland‘s running events a favorite among fans in the region.
The festival fun extends beyond the finish line. Skechers returns as the official apparel and footwear sponsor, supplying runner tees and sponsoring prizes for the “Disney-Style Runway Awards,” which celebrate the most creative Disney-inspired race outfits. FUJIFILM will serve as the official imaging sponsor with on-site event photography products.
Registration Opens July 29
Public registration opens on July 29, 2026, and spots for Disney running events tend to go quickly, so interested runners will want to mark their calendars now. Additional partners rounding out the event include CLASSY KISS as the official yogurt sponsor, Move Free as the official joint health sponsor, and bonaqua Mineralized Water as the official hydration beverages sponsor.
The Magic Run Fest caps off a busy year for Disney’s international parks, which have been in the spotlight all summer. Just last week, Disneyland Paris adjusted its nighttime spectaculars amid a heatwave, while Hong Kong Disneyland has been celebrating its Pixar Summer Fest.
