Disney Springs starts its Halloween season on Tuesday, and the anchor is back for a second year. Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar takes on its Halloween overlay on August 11 and holds it through November 9, with what Disney and outlets that have been through the menu describe as an almost entirely new lineup of food and drinks.
The Season Got Noticeably Longer
The Halloween Hangar Bar debuted last year and ran from August 19 through November 4. This year it opens eight days earlier and closes five days later, which adds nearly two weeks to the run. That is a small detail with a clear read behind it. Disney does not extend a seasonal overlay that underperformed, and the 2025 version drew long enough waits that the standing advice was to arrive at opening.
What Is On The Menu
Only one holdover made the jump. The Alien Invader Sliders return, built on crispy Nashville hot fried chicken with sliced provolone, dill pickle slices, a cheddar chive biscuit and queen olives. Everything else is new or reworked.
The new arrivals include Candelabra Eggs, which are deviled eggs topped with crispy fried chicken, a sweet and tart pepper sauce and an aji amarillo custard, along with Midnight Mayhem Popcorn Chicken, the Dark Forest Dip, Bone Kebabs and a reworked Skull of the Dead dip. On the drink side, Disney has built out a run of seasonal cocktails including a blackberry and habanero lime number finished with a black sugar rim, and a pair of cold brew cocktails garnished with caramel popcorn and candy corn marshmallows. Plan For A Wait
Jock Lindsey’s does not take reservations. It is walk up only, all season, and it was already one of the busier spots at Disney Springs before it started decorating for Halloween. If the overlay is the reason you are going, going early in the day is the practical move.
The Backstory Is Half The Appeal
The bar is themed to Jock Lindsey, the pilot who flies Indiana Jones out of Peru at the start of Raiders of the Lost Ark. The conceit is that Jock settled at the springs, bought waterfront property and turned his airplane hangar into a gathering place, and the room is packed with artifacts tying him to the Society of Explorers and Adventurers. The Halloween dressing leans vintage rather than gruesome, with pumpkin scarecrows out front and one of them flying a plane.
The Halloween version is the newer of two seasonal overlays at the venue. Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Hangar Bar has been running through the November and December stretch for years, so the room turns over from one seasonal dress to the other with very little downtime between them. Disney has not yet announced this year’s holiday dates.
Disney also says Halloween treats are on the way to EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, without naming dates or items yet.
