Disneyland Resort has detailed this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party, and the price is holding steady at $94 per person, the same as last year. What you get for it has changed, because the show it is attached to is new.
What Is Included
The centerpiece is reserved seating in a preferred viewing area in front of Sonoma Terrace for Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake, the Haunted Mansion street party that is new to Oogie Boogie Bash in 2026.
The food leans savory as well as sweet. Guests receive a signature Oogie Boogie-themed box of artisan charcuterie and cheeses with assorted accompaniments, along with Halloween desserts and freeze-dried fruits. Disney has billed the sweets as Nightmare Before Christmas themed. The box itself holds a triple chocolate cheesecake, a candy-coated chocolate crisped rice treat, a Dubai chocolate-inspired bundt cake with pistachio crunch and a sugar cookie.
Drinks are included for everyone, not just the adults. Every guest gets unlimited soft drinks and bottled water, plus coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a nonalcoholic specialty beverage. Guests 21 and over also receive one alcoholic drink, either wine, beer or an Oogie Boogie Bash specialty cocktail. Each reservation comes with an exclusive collectible enamel pin as well. LaughingPlace has the full inclusions list.
The Ticket Math Is Worth Doing
The dessert party is an add-on, not an alternative. It does not include admission to Oogie Boogie Bash, and a valid event ticket for the same night is required. With party tickets running from $139 to $199 depending on the date, adding the dessert party puts a single evening somewhere between $233 and $293 per person before anything else. The $94 covers guests ages 3 and up, children 2 and under are free, and tax and gratuity are already included in the price.
Bookings are not open yet. Reservations go live on August 6, twelve days before the event’s opening night on August 18, and they are made through the Disneyland website and app. Full payment is due at the time of booking, and the reservation has to match the night of your event ticket.
A Different Party This Year
Oogie Boogie Bash runs 33 nights this year, from August 18 through October 31, with the party itself from 6pm to 11pm and ticket holders admitted to Disney California Adventure from 3pm. That is up to eight hours in the park on a party ticket.
The larger change is what is missing. The Frightfully Fun Parade is not part of the 2026 event because of construction on the park’s new Coco attraction, which is why Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake carries so much of the entertainment load this year, and why a reserved viewing spot for it is the dessert party’s main selling point.
Full details are on Disneyland’s official Oogie Boogie Bash page. The dessert party is one piece of a substantially reworked event, which we covered when Disney revealed the new Haunted Mansion street party and World of Color ONE for 2026.
