Radiator Springs Curios has closed at Disney California Adventure, hidden behind Cars-themed construction walls and a layer of green camouflage mesh, as a run of closures, construction projects and small returns reshapes the week across the Disneyland Resort.

The Route 66 souvenir shop in Cars Land is now fully wrapped. Wood-plank walls block the entrance, and parts of them carry retro Route 66 emblems and other Cars touches so the closure blends into the street. Camouflage scrim covers the building behind them. The shop is themed as a roadside souvenir stop in the town of Radiator Springs and is one of the main places in the land to buy Cars merchandise.

Disney has not said what the work involves or when the shop will reopen.
Mad Tea Party
Mad Tea Party has been closed for refurbishment in Fantasyland since September 14, and Disneyland’s calendar shows the teacups down through at least October 20. No reopening date has been announced.

Trader Sam’s And Tangaroa Terrace
Over at the Disneyland Hotel, scaffolding and construction walls have gone up around Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar and Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill. The work is focused on the patio the two venues share, along the side facing the hotel pool. Disney has not detailed the scope of the project or given a completion date.
Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition
On the other side of Disneyland Park, the Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition has reopened, and the gallery still smelled of fresh paint on Tuesday.
Main Street Cinema Has A New MagicBand+ Ticket
The MagicBand+ touchpoint at the Main Street Cinema is now handing out a new Mickey Mouse ticket. The interaction was added for the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, when the cinema was showing a tribute to the Sherman Brothers and the band dispensed a ticket to that film. After a brief renovation, the cinema now shows modern Mickey Mouse shorts, and the ticket has been updated to match.

The Avengers Jeep Is Back
In Avengers Campus, the armored Avengers jeep is back in its original spot at the southwest end of Avengers Headquarters, next to Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, right in front of the remaining construction walls.
The walkway between Avengers Campus and Cars Land has returned, giving guests a direct route between the two lands again.
A New Window On Main Street
Not everything this week was behind a wall. For Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, which runs September 15 to October 15, Disneyland has added a new Emporium window display on Main Street, U.S.A. depicting a family’s journey through Mexico and Latin America. It stays up through November 2. In the Downtown Disney District, Encanto and Coco topiaries, including Isabela and Miguel in his mariachi outfit, are on display, and Elena of Avalor will make a special appearance from October 4 to 15.
