A Taylor Swift surprise song is turning up on Alien Swirling Saucers: Lilypad’s Jams at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. An instrumental version of “I Knew It, I Knew You,” Swift’s original song for Toy Story 5, plays on the Toy Story Land attraction, and a video posted on September 29 captures the full track.
The song was not among the tracks Disney named when it announced the new soundtrack on September 16, and it does not hold a fixed spot in the setlist. It plays at random and was heard between “We Belong Together” and “Buzz Beats!” during one visit. How often it comes up is unclear, though cast members suggested it may play once or twice an hour. “I Knew It, I Knew You” did appear in a list of the attraction’s songs published on opening day, September 25.
Swift co-wrote and co-produced the song with Jack Antonoff. It was released on June 5, two weeks before Toy Story 5 opened in theaters on June 19, and Disney described it as inspired by Jessie’s journey in the film and as a return to Swift’s country roots. “I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening,” Swift wrote when she announced it.
The Full Lilypad’s Jams Setlist
The new soundtrack debuted on Friday, September 25, with Lilypad, the frog-shaped smart tablet from Toy Story 5, as the in-story DJ. Apart from the surprise song, the nine songs were observed playing in this order:

The reworked classics Disney named are “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” “We Belong Together” and “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away.” “Hay Un Amigo En Mi” is the Spanish-language version of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” The two originals are “Pizza Planet Promo,” an in-story theme song for the pizza arcade, and “Spin It Back, Lilypad,” a tribute to Lilypad. Thomas Niederhiser, senior creative producer at Walt Disney Imagineering, said the team set out to “create catchy new original songs, that are singable, sincere and a little cheesy, as one is about Pizza Planet.”
Lilypad Plays Between Songs
Lilypad also entertains guests outside the ride between songs with a drawing guessing game, puzzles to unscramble and recorded “home videos” of Toy Story characters, all part of the changeover to Lilypad’s Jams. The music, including the surprise song, stops when the attraction is not operating.
