About Hexed
In Hexed, an impulsive and unconventional teenage girl named Billie, voiced by Hailee Steinfeld, discovers secret magical abilities that send her out of suburbia and into a vast witch realm called Hexe. Forced to team up with her cautious mother, Alice, voiced by Rashida Jones, the two uncover family mysteries that could change the world of witches forever.
The voice cast also includes Jodie Foster as Queen Celeste, Walton Goggins as Beef Roger Crummchuk, Tracey Ullman as the enchanted feather quill pen Ms. Quill and Stephen Fry as the magical journal Elias Quire.
Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand direct the film, with Josie Trinidad as co-director. Roy Conli and Yvett Merino produce. Disney Animation first revealed the title at Destination D23 in August 2025.
Hexed will not arrive alone. Lilo & Scratch, a new Lilo & Stitch short, plays with it in theaters. Set right after the original film, it follows Stitch as he tries to protect Pudge the fish from Scratch, a new arrival Lilo brings home, and it blends hand-drawn animation with watercolor-style backgrounds.
Fans at Walt Disney World can already get a closer look at the characters. Maquettes of Billie, Alice, Beef and Bucket went on display in September in The Magic of Disney Animation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
