Colonel Hathi’s Outpost Restaurant Adds Self-Order Kiosks At Disneyland Paris

Colonel Hathi’s Outpost Restaurant in Adventureland at Disneyland Park now has self-order kiosks. ED92Magic spotted the new screens on Sunday, October 18, and shared photos.

How The Kiosks Work

The screens use a parchment map background with the restaurant’s logo in the middle. Guests pick eat-in or take-out first, and can switch the menu between French, English and Spanish. Each screen has a card terminal next to it.

Tabs cover set menus, à la carte items, desserts and ice cream, cold drinks, hot drinks, beer and a kids’ menu. Each item has its own allergen button.

What’s On The Screen

The Butter Chicken Menu and the vegan Lentil Dahl Menu are €18 (about $20) each, while the 4-Cheese Pizza Menu and Pepperoni Pizza Menu are €17.50 (about $20). The lentil dahl gets the banner at the top, with an order now button.

The building opened in 1992 as the Explorers Club, a table-service restaurant at the far end of Adventureland, but guests wanted a quicker meal so they could get back to the attractions, and it became Colonel Hathi’s Pizza Outpost in 1995. Butter chicken and lentil dahl joined the pizzas in 2024.

Not The Resort’s First Kiosks

Disneyland Paris tested ordering and payment kiosks at Café Hyperion in Discoveryland in the summer of 2024.

The kiosks arrived weeks before the Disneyland Paris holiday season, which starts November 7.
