The Disney Believe Oceaneer Club is getting a front door no other Disney ship has. Disney Cruise Line says the entrance to the kids club on its newest ship will be themed to Pixar’s Monsters, Inc., complete with “Caution: 2319” tape and a figure of Mike Wazowski holding his laugh canister.
It was one of the smaller details in the big October 7 Disney Believe reveal, which was crowded with new shows, restaurants and lounges. The theme is exclusive to the Believe.
A Little Bit Of Monstropolis
Anyone who has seen the 2001 film will know the joke. In Monsters, Inc., a 2319 is the alarm that goes off when a monster comes into contact with a human item, and it sends the Child Detection Agency running. Putting that warning on the door of a room built for human children is the gag, and Mike standing by with his canister finishes the scene.
Past the door, the club follows the setup families already know from the other Wish class ships. Kids ages 3 to 10 can walk in, or take the slide, into five themed areas: Marvel Super Hero Academy, Fairytale Hall, Star Wars: Cargo Bay, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, and Mickey and Minnie’s Captain’s Deck. Disney-trained counselors run the programming, and Disney characters drop in for playtime.
Spaces For Every Age On The Disney Believe
The Oceaneer Club is only one of the youth spaces on board. Families with the littlest cruisers can use the babysitting service at It’s a Small World Nursery, which takes children from 6 months to 3 years old and is inspired by the classic attraction.
Tweens ages 11 to 13 get Edge, a bright hangout styled like a New York City loft, where they can play games and meet other kids on the sailing. Teens ages 14 to 17 head to Vibe, a Parisian-style loft with movies, games and group activities planned just for them. There is also the Hideaway, a hangout for older kids with a dance floor and a DJ booth.
When You Can Sail
The Disney Believe is the fourth ship in the Wish class, joining the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. Its maiden voyage is set for December 18, 2027, sailing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and general bookings open October 19, 2026.
That leaves more than a year before the first kids walk past Mike and into the club. Much of what is inside will feel familiar to families who have sailed the Wish class before, which makes the Monsters, Inc. entrance the part of the Oceaneer Club they will only find on the Believe.
