Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Keepsake Sea arrives November 18, 2026, and it sends players underwater. The game’s next paid expansion turns your villager into one of the merfolk. It starts with a mysterious statue rising from the water and a message that an old friend is lost and stranded, then opens up a sea full of Disney and Pixar characters to find.
Gameloft laid out the details in this week’s Dreamlight Valley showcase, which also previewed the game’s next free update and a roadmap of free content running into 2027.
Three Islands, A Pirate Ship And New Faces
The adventure begins at Dazzle Beach and spreads across three new island biomes: Shipwreck Shores, Candy Cove and the Kingdom of Oublie. Along the way, players meet characters from Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Pirates of the Caribbean, Hercules, Peter Pan and more. The goal is to track down the Guardians who protect the treasures of a long-forgotten past.
The expansion’s other big addition is an Enchanted Pirate Ship. You can use its crane to salvage items out of the water, customize its flag and sail, and fully decorate the Captain’s Cabin, which has its own crafting, cooking and storage. The ship even gets a dedicated Photo Mode.
Editions And What You Get
If you already own the base game, the standard expansion comes with 5,000 Moonstones. The Deluxe Edition doubles that to 10,000 Moonstones and adds the Gilded Shell Tops outfit, a Merfolk Mansion House Style and two new Adventure Companions, Flounder and Sebastian from The Little Mermaid. Both companions come with a special quest featuring Ariel and can follow you on land and underwater.
Apple Arcade players on Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition get the expansion on day one at no extra cost. Newcomers can pick up a Keepsake Sea Edition that bundles the base game and expansion, or a new Ultimate Edition 2026 that adds the Wishblossom Ranch expansion and the Deluxe Edition extras. Anyone who buys the expansion and plays between November 18 and December 2 also earns an exclusive fin for their merfolk character.
What To Play Before November 18
You don’t have to wait to start earning ocean-themed gear. A new Seafaring Star Path is live now, running alongside the Haunting Elegance Star Path, with rewards you can use once the expansion arrives. After that, the free ‘Ohana Holidays update lands December 9 and brings Lilo from Lilo & Stitch to the Valley along with another Star Path and holiday celebrations.
