Disney Wonders, the shop replacing the former Disney Store in Disney Village at Disneyland Paris, opens Tuesday, September 22. Disneyland Paris set the date on September 10, and a guide to Disney Village published this week lays out the other openings and refurbishments coming to the district through 2027.
Inside Disney Wonders
The store brings Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars merchandise under one roof. Its facade carries artwork inspired by Star Wars, Peter Pan and Toy Story. Inside, two chandeliers feature more than 40 character illustrations from Disney and Pixar films, and illuminated light boxes show heroic and galactic characters.
The checkout areas are decorated with illustrations inspired by scenes from Disney Animation and Pixar films, tied together with Tinker Bell’s pixie dust and Pixar’s Luxo Jr. lamp.
Casa Giulia Opens At The End Of 2026
Casa Giulia, a two-level Italian restaurant from the team behind Brasserie Rosalie, is set to open at one of Disney Village’s main entrances at the end of 2026. The menu will focus on Italian dishes, seasonal ingredients and Italian cocktails. A counter called Giulia Express will sell pizza by the slice, focaccia, pastries and gelato.
Vapiano will be fully refurbished starting at the end of 2026, with a brighter design, updated terraces and a children’s play area upstairs. That work is expected to wrap in early 2027.
Annette’s Diner Returns In 2027
Annette’s Diner, which has been in Disney Village since 1992, will reopen in 2027 after an extensive refurbishment. The refreshed diner keeps its 1950s theme, with booth seating inspired by vintage car interiors, restored jukeboxes and new decor.
Rainforest Cafe is on its way out. Disneyland Paris has confirmed the restaurant will close later this year.
A Rebuilt Cinema And Christmas Snowflakes
The Pathé cinema is being refurbished in phases starting this month, with recliner seating and upgraded projection, and it will stay mostly open during the work. The full transformation arrives in 2027.
For the holidays, Disney Village will add Christmas trees, giant snowflakes inspired by Disney stories, new lighting and photo spots. Guests who find all the characters hidden in the snowflake designs can pick up an exclusive ornament at Sports Bar and Lounge. The decor arrives with the resort’s holiday season.
The South Block Is Next
The current work finishes the North Block of Disney Village. Disneyland Paris says the South Block will be next, with modernized architecture and new offerings in the same style, though it has not given dates.
