The 2027 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will run from January 15 through March 1, and Disney has given the event an extra week, making it the longest edition in the festival’s history. The Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game returns as presenting sponsor, and the festival will once again fill the park with visual art, live Broadway performances and a full slate of food kiosks.

A Longer Run In 2027
Disney confirmed the extended window as part of a wider spring announcement, noting that the festival has been stretched by an additional week. It also makes 2027 the festival’s tenth year, after it debuted in 2017 as the newest of EPCOT’s seasonal celebrations.
The festival has grown into one of the busiest stretches on the EPCOT calendar, built around interactive photo ops, paint by number murals, gallery displays and food built to be photographed as much as eaten. The 2027 run lands squarely in the middle of the slower winter travel season, which is part of why Disney leans on it so heavily.
Disney Lorcana Returns As Presenting Sponsor
The Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game comes back to the festival with exclusive offerings that will only be available at the event, including promo items and gifts with purchase. Three returning experiences were named: the Ink and Find Scavenger Hunt, which sends guests through World Showcase hunting oversized Lorcana cards, the Collection Quest, a group collecting challenge built for new players, and the Illumineer’s Lounge, where guests open booster packs and trade with other players.
That is a notable amount of real estate for a card game inside a festival that has historically been about painting, sculpture and culinary presentation, and it reflects how quickly Lorcana has become a fixture at Disney events since its launch.
Disney On Broadway Comes Back To America Gardens Theatre
The DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series returns to the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure pavilion. Performers who originated Disney roles on Broadway come to EPCOT to sing the songs they helped introduce, alongside other Disney standards.
Concerts take place several times each evening and admission is included with EPCOT park entry, with seating handed out on a first come, first served basis. Dining packages that guarantee a seat typically go on sale later, and the full list of performers has not been revealed yet.
More Than Twenty Food Studios And Artists At Work
Disney says the 2027 edition will feature more than 20 Food Studios spread across the park. Those kiosks are the culinary half of the festival, and the menus typically arrive in a separate foodie guide closer to opening.
The live art component returns as well. Chalk Art Galleries, artists painting Disney characters in a matter of minutes, and musicians stationed around the park are all on the list, along with Animation Academy, the Expression Section paint by number mural, artful photo ops and festival merchandise. Visiting artist names, dates and locations will be posted on DisneyWorld.com rather than announced all at once.
What Follows It On The Calendar
Nine days after the Festival of the Arts closes, the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival opens on March 10 and runs through May 31. Between the two events, EPCOT will be in festival mode for nearly five straight months to start 2027, which is the pattern the park has settled into since the festival calendar expanded. Construction and refurbishment work around World Showcase has already been reshaping how those festivals use the walkways, as seen with the dining ledges added ahead of Food and Wine.
