The walk-up list at EPCOT’s GEO-82 lounge has been removed just days after it debuted. The feature quietly went live in the My Disney Experience app earlier this week, giving guests a way to join a virtual queue for the exclusive lounge tucked inside Spaceship Earth, but Disney has now pulled the option back down.
A Short-Lived Addition
GEO-82 has been one of the toughest tables to land at Walt Disney World since it opened inside Spaceship Earth. The 21-and-up lounge offers a small, intimate setting with a retro-futuristic design, and reservations have routinely vanished the moment they are released. The arrival of a walk-up list looked like a meaningful win for guests hoping to visit without planning weeks in advance.
That change has now been reversed. The same walk-up feature has also been removed for The Beak and Barrel, the Pirates of the Caribbean tavern at Magic Kingdom, which had its own walk-up list go live around the same time. Disney has not offered a public explanation, so it remains unclear whether the rollout was premature or whether the lounges simply could not keep up with the resulting demand.
Booking GEO-82 Going Forward
For now, guests will need to book GEO-82 the traditional way, through reservations in the My Disney Experience app or on the Walt Disney World website. Given how quickly the lounge books up, planning ahead remains essential for anyone hoping to experience it during their visit.
Because the walk-up functionality clearly exists and was briefly switched on, there is a reasonable chance it returns once Disney sorts out whatever prompted the removal.
