If you are staying at one of four select Walt Disney World resort hotels this summer, your evenings just got a lot more magical. Mickey and friends are hosting free Pajama Parties at Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, and Port Orleans Riverside as part of Cool Kids Summer 2026. The celebration runs May 26 through September 8, 2026.
What Happens at the Pajama Party
The Pajama Parties take place in resort lobbies on select nights, typically from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Mickey and friends arrive in their pajamas for character greetings alongside storytime from special libraries curated by Disney Publishing. Kids can also complete a hands-on activity booklet documenting their Disney World trip, a keepsake to bring home.
Campfire events happen on select nights too, with marshmallow roasting and Disney sing-alongs. Movie Under the Stars screenings follow the Pajama Party at some locations.
More Cool Kids Summer Perks at These Four Resorts
Beyond the Pajama Party, guests at these four resorts get scheduled character visits from Mickey and Minnie, pool parties with high-energy entertainment, and special Disney Publishing libraries. Disney is also providing complimentary baby essentials at these locations, including bottle warmers, infant bathtubs, diaper disposal units, and nightlights.
Perks for All Disney World Resort Hotel Guests
Every guest at any Disney Resorts Collection hotel during Cool Kids Summer gets Early Theme Park Entry, 30 minutes before regular opening each day. All resort guests also receive a free water park ticket for use on arrival day. Disney H2O Glow After Hours returns on select nights from June 2 through September 5, 2026.
