Hexed is coming to Monday Night Football. Walt Disney Animation Studios will air an exclusive look at its next film during the Buffalo Bills at Los Angeles Rams game on Monday, October 12, on ABC and ESPN, and it is teasing the moment with a clip that sends Rams star Aaron Donald somewhere a lot stranger than SoFi Stadium.
Does this mean I can fly now?

Check out Monday Night Football tomorrow on ABC and ESPN for an exclusive look at Disney’s Hexed, in theaters November 25! pic.twitter.com/hXolmPPqzA
In the clip, Donald is pulled out of the locker room and into Hexe, the hidden witch realm at the center of the movie. There he ends up talking with two of its magical objects: Elias Quire, a magical journal voiced by Stephen Fry, and Ms. Quill, an enchanted quill pen voiced by Tracey Ullman. Donald seems willing to go along with the detour, as long as he is back in time for gameday. Disney posted it Sunday under a fitting question: “Does this mean I can fly now?”
Why Aaron Donald
The casting has a little magic of its own. Donald retired after the 2023 season, then came out of retirement in August to rejoin the Rams on a one-year deal. Monday’s game puts him in front of a national audience at home, with the Bills visiting the Rams at SoFi Stadium. The broadcast starts at 8 p.m. ET, and kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET.
The clip ends with a card promising the exclusive look during halftime, so tune in by the break on ABC or ESPN.
What Hexed Is About
Hexed opens in theaters November 25. Hailee Steinfeld voices Billie, an impulsive teenager who discovers she has magical abilities and is pulled into Hexe. She has to team up with her cautious mother, Alice, voiced by Rashida Jones, to uncover the secrets in their family’s past. Walton Goggins voices Beef Roger Crummchuk, a three-eyed cat who acts as Billie’s guide in Hexe and can take his head off and spin it around. Jodie Foster plays the villain, Queen Celeste, in her Disney Animation voice-acting debut. Goggins and Foster both joined the cast at D23 in August.
Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand direct, with Josie Trinidad as co-director. Roy Conli and Yvett Merino produce.
The football tie-in is the latest push for the film ahead of its Thanksgiving week release. Fans at Walt Disney World can already get an early look at the characters, too, with Hexed maquettes of Billie, Alice, Beef and Bucket on display inside The Magic of Disney Animation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
