Hong Kong Disneyland has kicked off its first-ever Pixar Summer Fest with a packed lineup of new entertainment, interactive experiences, and a brand-new nighttime spectacular. The celebration launched on June 12, 2026, and runs through August 31.

Pixar Pals Spectacular: A New Nighttime Show
The biggest debut of the festival is the brand-new “Pixar Pals Spectacular,” an eight-minute nighttime show featuring Pixar-themed drone patterns, projection mapping visuals, and classic Pixar music, staged just before the park’s beloved “Momentous” nighttime spectacular. The show immediately became a highlight of the festivities, with HKDL Fantasy calling the debut a first look at what will be one of the signature experiences of this year’s summer season at the park.
New Interactive Shows
Two brand-new interactive shows have been added to the Pixar Summer Fest lineup this year. In Adventureland, guests can join Miguel from Coco for a sing-along talent show called “Seize Your Moment,” featuring several of the film’s iconic songs. Near Tomorrowland, a new Turning Red show transforms a school lunch break into a 4*Town fan celebration, with Mei Lee and friends dancing along to 4*Town’s music.
The Turning Red show also marks Mei Lee’s first appearance at HKDL in her human form, making it a notable character debut for the park.
Toy Story 5 Costumes and More
The Opening Day showcase on Main Street U.S.A., called the “All Star Showcase,” featured Woody, Buzz, and Jessie debuting their updated looks from Toy Story 5. The Pixar Water Play Street Party also made a return this year after a one-year hiatus, giving guests a fun daytime water experience tied to the festival. The iconic giant Luxo Jr. lamp and Luxo Ball have also been installed at the park as signature photo opportunities for the summer! The festivities continued into the film’s release, when Canto-pop star Joey Yung joined the parade for the Toy Story 5 premiere celebration.
