Four Downtown Disney restaurants are serving menu items themed to King of the Hill, Bob’s Burgers, Futurama and Family Guy through the end of August, as Hulu’s adult animation brand Animayhem takes over the Disneyland Resort shopping and dining district.
The promotion was announced through the Downtown Disney Instagram account and runs through August 31. Photos of the offerings went out before any description of them did, so the specifics only became clear once LaughingPlace visited the participating restaurants and documented what is actually being served.
Ballast Point Takes King Of The Hill
The brewery has the deepest menu of the four, which makes sense for a show largely set in an alley with a beer in hand. Its Alamo Lager is a 21 and over pour, and the food runs to a half rack of Texas barbecue ribs served with garlic Texas toast, a double stacked Billdozer Burger topped with brisket and onion rings, and a teriyaki glazed wurst dog under the Robata Chane name, which comes from Bobby Hill’s restaurant venture and which Hulu also used for its King of the Hill food stand at San Diego Comic-Con. Dessert is a spiced apple crumble served with cinnamon churro ice cream.
Burgers, Wagyu And A Tequila Cocktail
Black Tap Craft Burgers and Shakes has the Bob’s Burgers tie-in and is selling a $32 combo built around a Burger of the Day, pairing a wagyu patty carrying goat cheese and fig jam with an iced tea and a mint chocolate chip sundae finished with a themed cookie. A separate $14 chocolate shake is loaded with brownie pieces and candy.
Naples Ristorante e Bar has the lightest participation, offering a single Futurama item, a wagyu beef sandwich with sloppy joe sauce, peppers and provolone. Splitsville Luxury Lanes covers Family Guy with a buffalo chicken sandwich and a 21 and over tequila cocktail served in a salted glass.
Collectible Buttons At Every Stop
Alongside the food there is a collectible button and pin set, with one available at each of the four locations. Ordering a specialty menu item appears to be required to receive one, though the terms have not been spelled out in full, so anyone chasing the complete set should confirm at each restaurant before ordering.
Collecting all four means visiting all four, which is the point. None of it requires theme park admission, since Downtown Disney sits outside the gates, so the entire promotion is open to anyone who can park at the resort.
Adult Animation At A Disney Resort
Animayhem is Hulu’s umbrella branding for its adult animated comedy lineup, most of which came to Disney through the 20th Century Fox acquisition. The brand has become a fixture at San Diego Comic-Con, where the July 2026 activation in the Gaslamp Quarter built out Futurama’s Planet Express ship alongside that King of the Hill food concept.
Putting the same branding on Disneyland Resort property is a different proposition, and Downtown Disney is the logical place for it. The district has always carried a slightly older audience than Main Street, U.S.A., and it keeps adding full service restaurants and bars, including an exclusive cocktail at Din Tai Fung and the arrival of Gordon Ramsay at the Carnaby.
The takeover also runs straight through D23, which opens in Anaheim on August 14 and sends foot traffic through the district climbing sharply. Guests planning to work through all four menus have until August 31.
