Kawaii Slime Company is opening at Disney Springs, bringing its scented slimes, slime kits and kawaii gifts to the Walt Disney World shopping district. The brand and Disney Springs announced the move together in a joint Instagram reel, and the brand has said it will be in the Marketplace area.
“We’ve been keeping a BIG secret… Kawaii Slime Company is coming to @disneysprings,” the company wrote, according to WDWMagic. The animated video follows the brand’s mascots on a flight from California to Florida and ends with a simple “Stay Tuned!”
No Opening Date Yet
Neither Kawaii Slime Company nor Disney Springs has shared an opening date. The announcement also does not say exactly where in the Marketplace the shop will sit, or whether it will be a cart or a full storefront. LaughingPlace notes that details on the location and what guests will find inside are still to come.
The Marketplace area of Disney Springs is home to World of Disney and Marketplace Co-Op. Disney Springs has been adding retailers this fall, including a Hallmark pop-up store that opened October 7 and the RSVLTS pop-up shop opening today at Marketplace Co-Op.
What Kawaii Slime Company Sells
Kawaii Slime Company makes scented, brightly colored slime toys. Its online shop sorts slimes by texture, from butter and fluffy to clear, crunchy and cloud, with favorites like Don’t Feed the Unicorns Butter slime and Baby Axolotl Clear slime. The company also sells slime kits, supplies, gift sets and seasonal lines.
Already A Fixture At Downtown Disney
This will not be the brand’s first Disney location. In 2024, Disney announced that Kawaii Slime was coming to a cart in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort, describing it as a mom-owned business offering “an imaginative array of slime concoctions and toys in a multitude of different textures, colors, scents and glittery mix-ins for kids and kids at heart.”
The Disney Springs shop will be Kawaii Slime’s first permanent location at Walt Disney World. The company has not said whether it will carry the same lineup as the Downtown Disney cart or add anything made for Walt Disney World.
