La Signature did not reopen at EPCOT on October 12 as scheduled, and Walt Disney World has now pushed the France pavilion boutique’s return to Wednesday, October 14. The shop has been closed for refurbishment since June 29.
Disney’s website and the My Disney Experience app both listed La Signature as open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on October 12, but the doors were still shut when Blog Mickey checked that morning. By 10 a.m. the date had moved. Disney’s listing for the shop now shows it closed for refurbishment through October 13 and open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on October 14.
What La Signature Sells
La Signature is the France pavilion’s beauty shop. Disney describes it as the place to choose from more than 70 French cosmetics and fragrances, including Guerlain, and to sit down for a makeup consultation.
The closure itself shifted before it started. The refurbishment was first set to begin June 8, then Disney moved the start to June 29. At the time, Disney said only that the shop would return later in 2026. It has not said what work was done inside, so the first look at the finished space will come when the doors open.
Where To Find Guerlain Until Wednesday
Guerlain has not left World Showcase in the meantime, and you do not have to wait until Wednesday to shop it. While La Signature is closed, Plume et Palette, a few steps away in the same pavilion, has been carrying the shop’s Guerlain products. That is still the place to go on October 12 and 13 if you are after a fragrance or a gift.
The missed date is a reminder that posted hours are not a promise during the last days of a refurbishment. If La Signature is on your list this week, check the shop in the My Disney Experience app on the morning you go, since the date has already slipped once.
If the new date holds, La Signature will have been closed for a little over three and a half months when it reopens on Wednesday, with the same 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. hours Disney had posted for October 12. It is not the only recent change in the France pavilion, which also got brand-new seats in its theater over the summer.
