The construction doors at Plaza Gardens were open at Disneyland Paris on Sunday, and the view inside shows a building still deep in its refurbishment. Photos from DLP Report show the Main Street, U.S.A. buffet wrapped in white scrims and scaffolding, and the project looks to be at the stage of replacing the facade cladding while crews also keep going inside.
Doors were open earlier today at the Plaza Gardens refurbishment site. Looks like the project is at the facade cladding replacement stage. Refurbishment is also going on inside, until sometime in 2027.

For anyone planning a trip, the takeaway is simple. Plaza Gardens is not coming back this year. Disneyland Paris has said the renovation runs until early 2027, and it has not named a specific reopening day.
What The Photos Show
The wide shot looks through the open purple construction gates at the front of the building. A tall white scrim covers nearly everything above the ground floor, and a frame of scaffolding holds it up. Only a sliver of the lower level is visible, and it is fenced off.
The closer shot is more telling. Behind the scaffolding poles, the lower part of the facade is wrapped in silver protective sheeting, and bare wooden boards sit next to the window frames above it.
A Top To Bottom Overhaul
This is not a fresh coat of paint. Plaza Gardens closed this spring for a project that touches almost every part of the restaurant, including the roof, the facades, the flooring and the kitchen, as Laughing Place reported in July. The plan also includes layout changes and a new color palette meant to help the building blend in with the greenery around it.
Those July photos showed the building covered in plain scrims. Three months later the wrapping is still up, but the open gates offer a look at the walls underneath and at how far the outside work has come.
Inside, the dining room is getting its own makeover. Disneyland Paris plans to restore the stained-glass canopies, reupholster most of the 291 chairs and bring in 40 redesigned banquettes. The interior moves to pale green tiles and a dark green floral carpet, and the buffet will add a lower section built for children.
It is one of several projects underway around the park right now. The bridge in front of the castle has been another, and as we covered, the Disneyland Paris castle bridge still has no reopening date after its big reveal. We will keep an eye on Plaza Gardens as the scrims start to come down.
