The original film, which starred Samara Weaving as a bride who discovers her new in-laws want to hunt her down as part of a murderous wedding night tradition, became a genre sensation thanks to its sharp writing, darkly comedic tone, and Weaving’s electrifying lead performance. According to What’s On Disney Plus, the sequel streams on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally beginning July 2, roughly one hundred days after its theatrical release.
The film landing across Hulu and Disney+ means it will be accessible to an enormous subscriber base, which should help drive significant viewership numbers for what is expected to be a high-profile horror event.
