It is almost time to head back to camp. The full Camp Rock 3 soundtrack has been revealed and is now available for preorder, giving fans their first complete look at the music powering the long awaited threequel, as detailed by BroadwayWorld.
Connect 3 Rides Again
In a fun touch, the tracks are credited to the actors’ real names, with one exception: the Jonas Brothers are billed as Connect 3, their in universe band. The brothers contribute a brand new song, Come On Over, along with a fresh take on We Rock, the finale number from the original 2008 film. The album also features newcomers Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Hudson Stone, and Casey Trotter, plus a score suite from composer Tom Howe.
The first single, One Beat Away, performed by Liamani and the cast, is already available on streaming platforms, and its official music video featuring the sequence from the film has now been released as well.
Release Dates For The Album And The Movie
The digital soundtrack from Walt Disney Records arrives on August 14, the same day the movie begins streaming on Disney+. The film premieres first on Disney Channel on August 13. A vinyl edition is also available to preorder from the Disney Music Emporium and is expected to ship on or around September 16.
Camp Rock 3 picks up when Connect 3 loses their opening act for a major reunion tour and returns to Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. The Jonas Brothers executive produce alongside Demi Lovato, and the group’s Disney summer does not end there, as the Jonas Brothers will record Hey Jonas! live at D23 on the same day they are inducted as Disney Legends.
