Disney Channel has set October 6 for the second season of Vampirina: Teenage Vampire, with the full season streaming on Disney+ the following day. The network announced the date Tuesday alongside first-look photos and a set of guest stars that includes Jodie Sweetin and two cast members from Camp Rock 3.

Sweetin, best known for Full House, and Ava Jean of Camp Rock 3 join the season as recurring guest stars. Hudson Stone, the Hollywood Records artist who appears in Camp Rock 3 and in the pilot for the new Mickey Mouse Club, is set for a guest spot, and Kim Coles returns as Dean Merriweather.

Where Season 2 Picks Up

The live-action, music-driven series follows Vee, a tween vampire who leaves Transylvania for a performing arts boarding school and has to keep her identity hidden while living among humans for the first time. Season 1 ended with Vee performing for the whole school in front of her idol, Millie Eyelash, and accidentally freeing a horde of monsters that had been locked in the mirror realm.

Season 2 brings Vee and her friends back to Wilson Hall with new musical ambitions and a bigger problem to sort out: a prophecy that says Vee and Elijah can never be together. That romantic complication, more than the monsters, is the thread Disney is leading with in its season description.

The Cast

Kenzi Richardson returns as Vee, with Jiwon Lee as her roommate Sophie, Shaun Dixon as Elijah, Milo Maharlika as Demi, the 600-year-old ghost, and Faith Hedley as Britney, the legacy student with talent to spare. Richardson was also recently cast to lead the pilot for a television sequel to Aquamarine.

The series is a reworking of the Disney Jr. animated hit Vampirina, itself drawn from Anne Marie Pace’s Vampirina Ballerina books. Season 1 premiered September 12, 2025 on Disney Channel, with the full season reaching Disney+ on October 15 of that year. The October 6 return lands a little over a year later, with a much shorter wait for streaming this time, and lines the new episodes up with the Halloween season, which is the natural home for a show about a teenage vampire.

A Busy Fall For Disney Channel

The date puts Vampirina in the middle of a crowded stretch for Disney’s kids and family slate. Camp Rock 3 has been feeding talent into the network’s other shows, as the Vampirina guest list shows, and Stone also appears in the pilot for the new Mickey Mouse Club. The network has been rebuilding its live-action lineup alongside the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place revival.

The first-look photos released with the date include Richardson alongside new guest star Ava Jean. Disney has not announced an episode count for the season.

Vampirina: Teenage Vampire Season 2 premieres Tuesday, October 6 on Disney Channel, with all episodes streaming October 7 on Disney+.
