The crown jewel of Walt Disney World dining is still wearing its crown. Victoria and Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has retained its one MICHELIN Star in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Florida, marking the third consecutive year the restaurant has held the honor since first earning it in 2024.
A Historic Streak Continues
Victoria and Albert’s holds a distinction no other restaurant in the country can claim: it remains the first and only restaurant owned and operated by a U.S. theme park destination to ever earn a MICHELIN Star. This year’s retention carries extra weight, too. The 2026 edition marks the first time the MICHELIN Guide Florida covers the entire state rather than select markets, meaning more restaurants than ever were eligible for review, and Victoria and Albert’s still held its place.
The MICHELIN Guide’s own description captures why, praising an intimate setting paced like a leisurely three-hour waltz, orchestrated by a brigade of veteran servers, with a kitchen that cooks from a classic foundation while drawing global inspiration spanning Asia to the Nordics. You can read the full entry on the official MICHELIN Guide page.
The Team Behind The Star
The restaurant’s leadership reads like a Disney culinary hall of fame. Executive Chef Matthew Sowers leads the kitchen alongside Chef de Cuisine Miguel Santeliz and Pastry Chef Ally Rogers, with longtime Culinary Director Scott Hunnel still guiding the program. Out front, maître d’hôtel Israel Pérez, who has been creating dining moments at Walt Disney World for more than 20 years, earned his own recognition with the MICHELIN Guide Florida Service Award in 2024.
The trophy case does not stop at MICHELIN. Victoria and Albert’s is the only location in Florida to hold both the AAA Five Diamond Award, which it has received every year since 2000, and the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award, held consecutively since 2018.
What Dining There Is Like
Victoria and Albert’s operates as a multi-course prix fixe experience with a seasonal contemporary American menu, a wine list of more than 500 selections, and zero-proof pairings for guests who prefer them. Diners must be at least 10 years old, the dress code is semi-formal to formal, and reservations remain famously difficult to secure. For the truly dedicated, the Chef’s Table offers a private, intimate look at the kitchen team at work.
Here is the thing that makes this streak special: guests may come to Walt Disney World for the attractions, but Victoria and Albert’s proves the resort can compete with the finest dining rooms in America. Three years running, the tire company agrees.
