EPCOT will close at 9 p.m. during the 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and Luminous The Symphony of Us will start at 9:15 p.m., 15 minutes after the park closes. The new EPCOT holiday hours run Nov. 27 through Dec. 30.
The Candlelight Processional is also moving earlier, with all three nightly performances starting 15 minutes sooner than in 2025. Walt Disney World released the new showtimes on Sept. 8 alongside this year’s celebrity narrator lineup, which adds Jason Kelce, Robin Roberts and Lacey Chabert as first-time narrators.
No Late Close This Year
Last December, EPCOT was open from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Luminous started at 9:30 p.m. This year the park keeps its usual 9 p.m. closing time through the festival and will still open at 9 a.m., with Early Entry starting at 8:30 a.m. Walt Disney World often posts standard hours first and extends them later based on expected crowds, so the schedule could still change before the festival begins. New Year’s Eve hours are set separately.
Luminous currently starts at 9 p.m., right at park close. During the festival, guests will be able to stay in the park to watch the fireworks over World Showcase Lagoon, but attractions close at 9 p.m. Anyone planning a last ride will need to finish it before then, leaving 15 minutes to find a spot along the lagoon.
Guests at Disney Deluxe Resort and Deluxe Villa Resort hotels, along with other select hotels, can use Extended Evening Hours, which keep select attractions open for them after the park closes to other guests on scheduled nights. EPCOT is scheduled to host them from 9 to 11 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, the first Monday of the festival. Last year, EPCOT’s Extended Evening Hours on four Mondays in December ran from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m.
Candlelight Processional Moves 15 Minutes Earlier
The Candlelight Processional will run nightly at America Gardens Theatre at 4:45 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. from Nov. 27 to Dec. 30. In 2025, they started at 5 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. The 8 p.m. show will wrap up around 9 p.m., leaving time for Luminous to follow.
Seating for each performance is first-come, first-served. Candlelight Processional dining packages, which include guaranteed seating, open for booking Oct. 14. They are offered at 16 table-service restaurants, plus a same-day option, and cost $43 to $109.
