Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will have a Bay Lake cocktail lounge built around a color-changing chandelier meant to bring all four seasons to life. Walt Disney World shared the first look at Branch & Brush on Thursday, along with a new rendering of the resort’s grand lobby, one week before reservations open to all guests on October 8.

Branch & Brush Brings Cocktails And Bay Lake Views
Branch & Brush sits just beyond the lobby and is described by Disney as a lounge offering handcrafted cocktails and views of Bay Lake. The space takes its inspiration from the changing seasons, with rich colors, natural textures and a collection of artwork throughout.
The centerpiece is the chandelier, which hangs at the heart of the room and changes color to represent each of the four seasons. In the rendering, glowing pink and green leaf canopies spread across the ceiling from tree trunk columns above a long curved bar, with tall windows looking out toward the water and framed artwork lining the back wall.
Disney has not released a menu, prices or operating hours for the lounge yet.
A Fiberoptic River Runs Through The Lobby
The new lobby rendering adds detail to what Disney first described in August. A shimmering fiberoptic river inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Pocahontas will light up the floor and flow around a custom bronze centerpiece designed by Walt Disney Imagineering. Familiar characters from decades of Disney animated films are etched into that centerpiece.
Overhead, a blown glass Colors of the Wind sculpture with hundreds of suspended glass leaves will hang above the space. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the lobby, and the rendering shows guests gathered around the bronze centerpiece with Bay Lake visible beyond the glass.
The Rest Of The Resort’s Lineup
Branch & Brush joins a list of venues Disney has already announced for the resort. Moonglade will be the lakefront table-service restaurant, Bay Lake Provisions will be the all-day quick-service marketplace, Paint Out Point Bar & Grill will serve the pool area near Lakeshore Lagoon, and Dandelion Terrace will be a lounge with views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks over Bay Lake.
The resort will have 967 rooms, ranging from duo studios to villas and new freestanding one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses along the shore. It sits on the south shore of Bay Lake, a boat ride from Magic Kingdom, and its outdoor recreation area, The Wetlands, includes the Lakeshore Lagoon feature pool and the Daydream River lazy river. TheDisneyScoop.com previously covered the giant otters and Animation Open House sign revealed at Pardon Our Pixie Dust.
