Carol, a Central Florida native and 36-year Walt Disney World cast member, is the new Casey’s Corner pianist on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom. Disney introduced her in a Disney Parks Blog post on September 16, 2026, using only her first name. Attractions Magazine identifies her as longtime Disney pianist Carol Stein.
Disney says she is playing “iconic ragtime classics” at the hot dog spot. Magic Kingdom’s official entertainment listing gives each Casey’s Corner Pianist set a 20-minute run time and does not say which pianist plays which set.
“Casey’s Corner is such a joyful, high-energy place, and I’m thrilled to be part of it. At the same time, it feels a little like the first day of school,” Carol said in Disney’s announcement.
A Disney Career That Started In 1990
According to Disney, Carol’s career began in 1990 at Pleasure Island’s Comedy Warehouse, where she performed for guests nightly. She has since played at venues across Walt Disney World, including the Rose & Crown Pub at EPCOT and her favorite, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Inspired By Tinker Bell
“Tinker Bell has always been my favorite character. She tinkers with things and fixes things that are broken, and I like to do that with my music. If somebody is sad, I want to make them happy. If somebody’s already happy and has a special song they want to hear, I love being able to play it for them. Tinker Bell is sassy; she spreads joy, and pixie dust. That’s what I hope to bring to guests through my music,” Carol said.
