Disney Cruise Line will reveal the Disney Believe in a livestream on Wednesday, October 7, at 4:30 p.m. Eastern. The show will stream on the Disney Parks YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok channels, and Disney says it will cover the ship’s homeport, itineraries, new venues and entertainment.
The Disney Believe is expected in late 2027. Disney Cruise Line first announced the October 7 date with a teaser video in July and confirmed the time and channels on September 28.

What Disney Has Already Shown
Disney shared new details about the ship at D23 in August. Moana and her friends will greet guests in the Grand Hall, Woody and Buzz Lightyear will decorate the stern, and Tinker Bell will appear on the bow.
Construction is underway at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, where the first of the ship’s three gigablocks floated out in September. That midship section holds the Grand Hall. Meyer Werft will build the forward section next, then the aft, before all three are joined to form the hull.
Disney has not said where the Disney Believe will sail from. The Disney Destiny moves to Port Canaveral in November 2027, which will put three Wish class ships in that port.
A One-Night-Only Show On The Disney Wish
Guests on the Disney Wish sailing that departs October 5 will see a one-night-only performance inspired by the Disney Believe on October 7, the night of the livestream. The performance will feature Susan Egan, who originated Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, voiced Megara in Hercules and is the godmother of the Disney Destiny.
The Fourth Wish Class Ship
The Disney Believe is the fourth ship in the Wish class, following the Disney Wish, the Disney Treasure and the Disney Destiny, and the ninth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro announced the name at the company’s annual shareholders meeting on March 18. Disney says the ship celebrates characters who “believe in themselves, in their dreams, and in the promise and possibility of a better tomorrow.”
Each Wish class ship has its own theme: enchantment on the Disney Wish, adventure on the Disney Treasure, and heroes and villains on the Disney Destiny. The Disney Believe’s theme is promise and possibility, and it draws on Encanto, Frozen, Moana, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and The Little Mermaid. It is part of Disney’s plan to grow the fleet to 13 ships by 2031.
