The Disney Believe maiden voyage is sold out before most people even get a chance to book it. By late morning on October 14, Disney Cruise Line’s website no longer showed the December 18, 2027 sailing as available, just three days into Castaway Club early booking and five days before booking opens to the general public.
The five-night Bahamian cruise is the Believe’s first sailing. It leaves Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on December 18 and returns December 23, with stops at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Disney Castaway Cay and Nassau. Disney confirmed the date and the Fort Lauderdale homeport during its October 7 livestream, and we covered the full reveal here.
Who Got In
Disney gave each Castaway Club tier its own booking day. Pearl members went first on October 12, followed by Platinum on October 13 and Gold on October 14. BlogMickey reported the maiden voyage was gone as of 11 a.m. on October 14.
That means Silver members, Disney Vacation Club members and Adventure Insiders, who all book on October 15, will miss out unless rooms come back, and so will everyone waiting for public booking on October 19.
Starting rates for the maiden voyage, for two guests, with taxes, fees and port expenses included, were $6,444 for an Inside stateroom, $6,764 for Oceanview, $7,134 for Verandah and $17,074 for Concierge.
Rooms May Still Open Up
Sold out during early booking doesn’t have to mean sold out for good. Under special booking policies Disney set for the maiden voyage, guests pay a non-refundable 10% deposit on the day of booking, and final payment isn’t due until 120 days before sailing for suites and Concierge staterooms, or 90 days before for everything else. Plans change a lot over 14 months, and rooms can reappear as those payment dates pass, so it’s worth checking back if you have your heart set on the first sailing.
As of October 14, BlogMickey reported that every other inaugural season date still appeared to be available. The Believe has 29 sailings from Fort Lauderdale through May 6, 2028, mixing four and five-night trips to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. The lowest starting price is $2,683 for two guests on the four-night cruise departing January 20, 2028.
If you’re planning to book another sailing, have your dates and stateroom category picked out before your window opens. The maiden voyage was gone before Silver members or the general public ever had a turn.
