Disney Cruise Line New York sailings are back. The Disney Wish will sail seven itineraries out of Manhattan between September 29 and November 5, 2027, the line confirmed on the morning of August 25 as it released its full fall 2027 and spring 2028 schedule. The sailings run four to seven nights and cover Bermuda, New England and Atlantic Canada during the fall foliage season, with one voyage ending in San Juan rather than returning to New York.
It is the first time the Wish itself has sailed from New York, and the first Disney Cruise Line season from the city since 2023, roughly four years by the time the ship arrives. The last time a Disney ship made news in the harbor was November 2024, when the Disney Treasure was christened there before heading south to Port Canaveral. Since then the line’s northern presence has been limited to Vancouver and the summer Alaska program.
The Seven New York Sailings
The season opens with a four-night Bermuda cruise departing September 29 and returning October 3, with two days docked at King’s Wharf. A five-night sailing from October 3 to 8 swaps Bermuda for Saint John, New Brunswick and Boston. A six-night cruise from October 8 to 14 combines King’s Wharf with Halifax, Nova Scotia. Two back-to-back five-night Bermuda sailings depart October 14 and October 19, and later itineraries add Charlottetown and Sydney, Nova Scotia before the ship repositions south on a one-way voyage that ends in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Blog Mickey, which had the fares as they loaded, reports the five-night Saint John and Boston sailing starts at $4,275 for an inside stateroom and $5,215 for a verandah, with concierge topping out at $10,305. The six-night Bermuda and Halifax voyage starts at $5,689 inside and $12,817 for concierge. Those are opening prices for two guests and will move as the ship fills.
The Rest Of The Fall 2027 To Spring 2028 Slate
New York was the headline, but the announcement covers the whole fleet. Disney says the season brings more departures from Puerto Rico, Panama, California, Texas and Florida, with ports of call across Mexico, the Caribbean and The Bahamas and stops at both of the line’s private destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The six latitude clues Disney teased on August 24 pointed at New York, San Juan, Galveston, San Diego, Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral, and the reveal matched all six.
Panama is the new name on that list. Disney Cruise Line has run Panama Canal crossings for years as repositioning voyages between Galveston and San Diego, but its appearance on the homeport list may point to more than a repositioning cruise. Full itinerary detail was still loading into Disney’s booking system as the August 25 announcement went out, and fans on the DIS Boards were already noting that the Disney Wish returns to Port Canaveral after its summer 2027 Europe season and before the New York run, while Galveston continues to show only the Disney Magic through spring 2028.
Booking Dates And The Ship That Is Missing
Select Castaway Club members can book the new itineraries starting Monday, August 31, and general bookings open Tuesday, September 8. That is a week later than last year’s schedule, which opened August 25 for members and September 2 for everyone, a slip that lines up with Disney holding this announcement until after D23.
What the schedule does not include is the Disney Believe. The fourth Wish-class ship arrives in late 2027 with Tinker Bell on the bow and Woody and Buzz on the stern, and Disney has said its full reveal comes in October.
