Disney Cruise Line has picked up new bragging rights. Forbes has recognized the cruise line on its 2026 Best Brands lists, naming it the highest ranked cruise line for both social impact and value, according to an announcement from Disney Experiences.
Seventh Overall Among 300 Brands For Social Impact
The Forbes Best Brands for Social Impact ranking, created in partnership with consumer insights company HundredX, recognizes brands that stand out for values and trust, social responsibility, sustainability, and community support. Disney Cruise Line did not just lead the cruise industry there. It ranked seventh overall among the 300 brands honored, out of nearly 5,500 brands evaluated. The 2026 list was built on more than 4.5 million consumer ratings from over 205,000 people.
Separately, Forbes’ second annual America’s Best Brands for Value list, also produced with HundredX, drew on a year long survey gathering 4.7 million consumer ratings. Disney Cruise Line again finished as the top cruise brand, a notable result for a line whose fares typically run well above its mainstream competitors.
Recognition Amid A Massive Expansion
The dual honors land as Disney Cruise Line is in the middle of the largest expansion in its history, growing its fleet with new ships like the Disney Destiny while adding destinations around the globe. Disney credits the value recognition to its rotational dining, Broadway style entertainment, and character experiences, the signature touches that keep families coming back despite premium pricing. It is also the latest in a string of hospitality accolades for the company, following Victoria and Albert’s retaining its MICHELIN star at Walt Disney World.
With more ships on the way and a new island destination in the Bahamas, expect Disney Cruise Line to keep showing up on lists like these for years to come.
