Disney Cruise Line Transforms Singapore’s Sentosa Island Into A Magical Disney Adventure

Disney Cruise Line is taking its newest ship, the Disney Adventure, well beyond the water. Beginning June 24 and running through September 20, 2026, the entire island of Sentosa in Singapore has been transformed into a massive Disney-themed experience called A Magical Island Adventure: Let’s Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line.

It is a first-of-its-kind island-wide collaboration between Sentosa Development Corporation and Disney Cruise Line, designed as a day-to-night adventure that spans beaches, landmarks, and open spaces across the island.

What Is the Disney Adventure?

The Disney Adventure is Disney Cruise Line’s newest and largest ship, and it has been sailing from Singapore since March 2026. The ship features seven distinct themed areas onboard: the Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, Town Square, Wayfinder Bay, San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place, and Marvel Landing. The Sentosa takeover brings all seven of those worlds ashore.

The Disney Adventure is the first Disney cruise ship designed specifically for the Asian market, and this Sentosa partnership is part of Disney’s broader push to grow its presence in Southeast Asia.

What to Expect at Sentosa

The experience kicks off even before guests arrive on the island. Starting in early July, the Sentosa Express monorail will be wrapped in decals featuring Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse. The Singapore Cable Car Sentosa Line is also getting into the spirit, with all three stations featuring Disney character photo installations, and the cable cars themselves decorated with designs inspired by Toy Story Place and Disney Discovery Reef.

At Palawan Beach, guests will find oversized bath toy figures of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Bullseye inspired by Toy Story Place, alongside a towering six-metre Baymax inflatable from Big Hero 6 representing San Fransokyo Street. A six-metre inflatable anchor installation flanked by figures of Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie anchors the beachfront area as one of the event’s signature photo spots.

At The Palawan, Marvel Landing-inspired installations include nods to Ironcycle Test Run and Groot Galaxy Spin, along with an Infinity Bar concept that transforms as the evening sets in. Sensoryscape is receiving a Disney Imagination Garden-inspired makeover with glowing pathways, hidden surprises, and lighting effects that create a glowing nighttime environment, marking the theming’s 100th anniversary of Disney storytelling.

At the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, a dedicated night experience inspired by Disney Discovery Reef and Wayfinder Bay has been added, with glowing manta ray installations and themed showpieces casting the area in shifting oceanic hues. For the first time ever, the landmark will be open until 10 p.m. as part of the festivities. Night admission is ticketed starting at S$8 for children and S$10 for adults.

Adventure Passport and Stamps

Guests can pick up a complimentary Adventure Stamp Card from any Guest Services Counter on the island. As they visit the different themed zones, they can collect a special medallion stamp at each location representing one of the seven onboard themed spaces.

Most daytime experiences across the island are free to enjoy. Only the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia night experience requires a ticket.

Perks for Disney Adventure Guests

Guests with existing or new Disney Adventure cruise bookings made between June 24 and October 1, 2026 can receive 15 percent off Southernmost Point of Continental Asia Night Admission Tickets and Sentosa Fun Discovery Pass bundles. Those sailing on the Disney Adventure can also unlock a complimentary experience at a participating Sentosa attraction during their visit.

Disney’s expansion into Southeast Asia has been significant in recent years, with the Disney Adventure joining a region that already hosts Hong Kong Disneyland’s Pixar Summer Fest 2026 and Shanghai Disneyland’s ongoing growth as a major Disney destination. The Sentosa takeover is yet another sign of how seriously Disney is investing in the Asian market.
