Disney and Dude Perfect have signed what Disney calls an integrated creative partnership, announced October 15. Select Dude Perfect content will be featured on Disney+, and the trick-shot group will make new videos for its own channels inspired by Disney franchises and events.

Disney also gets access to a selection of Dude Perfect’s existing short-form videos, which it can run across Disney+, ESPN and Disney’s social platforms. The Hollywood Reporter first reported the deal.
Super Bowl, Star Wars And The Avengers
Disney says planned collaborations over the next year include Super Bowl LXI, the 50th anniversary of Star Wars and Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. The Avengers tie-in includes Avengers-themed content for Overtime, one of Dude Perfect’s series.
The Super Bowl piece fits right into Disney’s plans for February. Super Bowl LXI airs on ESPN and ABC on February 14, and Disney+ will stream the game to every U.S. subscriber. Disney has not given dates for any of the Dude Perfect projects yet.
What Disney And Dude Perfect Said
“Disney has always been a place where great storytellers come to create, and Dude Perfect brings a distinctive voice and an inventive approach to everything they do,” said Asad Ayaz, chief marketing and brand officer for The Walt Disney Company.
“We’ve been Disney kids forever,” said Dude Perfect co-founder Garrett Hilbert. “Disney taught us to go big and dream, and that has shaped everything we’ve built.”
Not Their First Disney Project
Dude Perfect, the group of college friends Tyler Toney, Coby Cotton, Cory Cotton, Garrett Hilbert and Cody Jones, has worked with Disney before. Last year the group tried to visit all 12 Disney parks around the world in under 75 hours for a world record attempt. Disney says that video was the channel’s second best-performing YouTube upload in its first 24 hours, topped 13 million views and drove more than $1.2 million in donations to Make-A-Wish.
Today Dude Perfect counts 130 million followers and more than 22 billion lifetime views, and its business spans original videos, live tours, the Almost Athletes podcast and consumer products.
The deal is part of a wider push by Disney to bring creators into the fold. The company recently signed similar partnerships with YouTube creators Dhar Mann and Like Nastya, and Dude Perfect appeared at Created in LA, Disney’s creator event in September.
