A Celebration in Arendelle is going on a long winter break. The World of Frozen show at Disney Adventure World will stop on November 7 and will not return until April 3, 2027, nearly three months after the Christmas season wraps up on January 6.
Disneyland Paris confirms the dates on the show’s official page, which says it is on a scheduled break from November 7, 2026, to April 2, 2027. That makes April 3 the first day guests can expect to see it again. The show debuted with World of Frozen when Walt Disney Studios Park was renamed Disney Adventure World on March 29, so this is its first winter.
A Christmas Show Takes Its Place
During the holidays, Disney’s Ring in the Season with Anna and Elsa takes over Arendelle Bay (DLP Report calls the Christmas version Celebration in the Fjord), timed to Disney Enchanted Christmas, which brings the holidays to World of Frozen for the first time from November 7 to January 6.
🔧 “A Celebration in Arendelle” will not be performed from November 7, 2026. It will be replaced by the Christmas version “Celebration in the Fjord”. However, while the Christmas season ends on January 6, 2027, Celebration in Arendelle will not return until April 3, 2027.

Disneyland Paris’s own Christmas announcement describes Ring in the Season with Anna and Elsa as a roughly seven-minute show with Queen Anna and Queen Elsa in new winter outfits, presented several times a day including late afternoon. The resort has also announced an Olaf carol choir and a New Year’s drone show as part of the area’s first Christmas.
The Gap After Christmas
The part that will catch people out is January through early spring. The Christmas show runs with the season, which ends January 6, while A Celebration in Arendelle stays dark until April 3. Anyone with a Disneyland Paris trip booked for January, February or March who was counting on the show should plan without it, and families who have only seen it on video will need to wait for spring.
Disneyland Paris has not given a reason for the extended break.
What To Know If You Are Visiting
Guests visiting between now and November 6 can still catch A Celebration in Arendelle on its regular schedule. The official page notes that it can be canceled for bad weather or safety concerns, so check the Disneyland Paris app for showtimes on the day.
From November 7 through January 6, plan on the Christmas show instead. For January 7 through April 2, Disneyland Paris has not announced any show to fill the slot, so check the app closer to your trip in case that changes.
