Marvel fans and Magic: The Gathering players have a reason to head to Midtown Manhattan this Friday. The Disney Store at Times Square will host a special retail launch event for Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes on June 19, 2026, and attendees are in for more than just early access to the cards.
Meet the Artists Behind the Cards
The Disney Store at 1540 Broadway in New York City will feature artist Victor Adame Minguez from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., as well as artist David Palumbo later in the day. Guests will have a rare opportunity to meet the creators whose artwork appears on some of the set’s most coveted cards.
Exclusive Promo Card and Welcome Decks
Attendees who purchase Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes products at the event will receive a special Command Tower promo card featuring artwork by Victor Adame Minguez, while supplies last. Welcome decks will also be on hand for newcomers looking to jump into the game for the first time. According to magic.gg, the promo card is a borderless Command Tower available exclusively through Disney Parks and Disney Store launch events.
