UPDATE (September 23): Tapestry of Happiness is back on Disneyland’s schedule. Theme Park IQ reports that Disney removed all future showtimes around 1 a.m. and then re-added them about 45 minutes after its report on the cancellation. Disneyland’s schedule again lists performances at 8:55, 9:55 and 10:55 p.m. nightly through October 31, the show’s original end date. Disneyland has not commented on the change.
So regarding Tapestry of Happiness at Disneyland…

Disney cancelled all future showtimes at 1am last night. I waited 10 hours to make sure it wasn’t a glitch.
I post the cancellation and 45 minutes later, Disney re-adds it to the schedule. 😇
Disneyland has pulled Tapestry of Happiness from its entertainment schedule more than five weeks before the projection show was set to end. The “it’s a small world” show was scheduled to run nightly through October 31, but its last listed performances were on Tuesday, September 22.
Tonight’s schedule for Disneyland Park lists two nighttime shows and no Tapestry. Halloween Screams with Projections is set for 9:30 p.m., and Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga runs at 8:30, 9:25 and 10:15 p.m. Until this week, Tapestry of Happiness had been running nightly in front of the attraction in Fantasyland.
Disneyland has cancelled the rest of Tapestry of Happiness.

The “it’s a small world” projection show debuted for Disneyland’s 70th anniversary and kept running even after the rest of the 70th celebration wrapped up in August. It was scheduled to continue daily through October 31, but the Disneyland app now lists no performances after September 22.
Disneyland has not announced the change or given a reason. The show’s official page is still up and carries only the standard note that performances are subject to cancellation without notice.
A 70th Celebration Show That Outlasted The Celebration
Tapestry of Happiness debuted on May 16, 2025, as one of the signature new offerings of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration. The show uses light, music and projection effects to turn the facade of “it’s a small world” into an animated mosaic inspired by the art of Disney Legend Mary Blair, who designed the attraction.
The soundtrack is built around “Celebrate Happy,” the original song written for the anniversary, along with new arrangements of familiar Disneyland music from across the decades. Scenes pay tribute to attractions, parades and characters from the park’s 70-year history.
The 70th Celebration itself ended on August 9, 2026, and several of its shows ended with it. Paint the Night has already taken its final bow. Tapestry of Happiness was one of the holdovers, staying on the schedule into Halloween Time, which runs at Disneyland Resort through October 31.
This is not the first time the roughly five-minute show outlived its original window. Disney kept it running through the 2025 Halloween and holiday seasons, then brought it back as part of the full 70th slate in January 2026. Its scheduled run through the end of October would have given it nearly a year and a half on the facade.
What It Means For Your Visit
Guests who planned a fall trip around seeing the show one more time should not expect it. With no performances on the schedule after September 22, Tuesday night’s performances appear to have been the last ones.
The change applies to the nighttime projection show, not the “it’s a small world” boat ride itself. Guests looking for nighttime entertainment in Disneyland Park this fall still have Halloween Screams with Projections and Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga on the schedule.
Schedules at Disneyland can change quickly, and shows sometimes return to the calendar after a gap. Disneyland could still add Tapestry of Happiness back or explain why it ended early.
