Hotel guests at the Disneyland Resort can now book yoga inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The new 60 minute class costs $119 and takes place in the land before Disneyland Park opens, Theme Park IQ reported on September 22.
The price includes light snacks, a commemorative fitness towel and a keepsake photo. The first available booking appears to be October 17, and sessions are scheduled in a window between 5:15 a.m. and 7:15 a.m.
What The Class Includes
Disney describes Yoga in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as a special early morning session in Disneyland Park before it opens, per Mickey Visit. It is designed for all levels and mixes several types of yoga, followed by snacks, the photo and the towel to take home. Like every class in the program, it is only open to guests staying at the Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa or the Pixar Place Hotel.
Disneyland already offers Sunrise Yoga in Disneyland Park, which ends with the same snacks, photo and resort fitness towel. That class cost $109 last year, so the Galaxy’s Edge version costs $10 more.
Six More New Classes
Galaxy’s Edge yoga is one of seven new for-purchase fitness classes added for resort hotel guests, joining 17 existing options. Four of the others take place in Disney California Adventure before it opens:
- Awakening Yoga in Disney California Adventure Park, 45 minutes, $49
- Cars Land Lightning Drills, 45 minutes, $40, with agility ladders, cone drills, hurdles and jump ropes
- Pixar Pier Fitness Challenge, 45 minutes, $40, a boot-camp workout using stairs, ledges, resistance bands and medicine balls
- Grizzly Peak Fitness Camp, 45 minutes, $40, a boot-camp session in the Grizzly Peak area
The other two are Dream, Breathe, Restore, a 30 minute class of stretching, breathwork and meditation set to Disney instrumental music with its price not yet listed, and Balance Board Fitness, a 45 minute class for $30. One class is leaving the lineup: Aqua Beat, a 45 minute low-impact water aerobics class, is no longer offered.
The yoga class is the latest addition to Galaxy’s Edge, where the Droid Depot is also being prepared for three animatronic Anzellan droidsmiths.
