Disneyland Resort vacation packages can now include a few nights in San Diego. The Walt Disney Travel Company has added two downtown San Diego hotels as package options, SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Diego Downtown/Bayfront and Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Downtown/Bayfront, Laughing Place reports.
That makes it simpler to turn a Disneyland trip into a bigger Southern California vacation without booking the second leg separately. Both hotels are in San Diego’s Bayfront area, which includes attractions like the Gaslamp Quarter.
A Handy Stop Before A Disney Cruise
They’re also near the San Diego cruise terminal, and Disney Cruise Line has a busy West Coast schedule there right now. The Disney Wonder is spending seven months in San Diego, sailing three- to seven-night trips from October 2026 through April 2027 to Catalina Island, Cabo San Lucas, Ensenada and Puerto Vallarta, according to Disney Cruise Line. The Disney Magic is also sailing from San Diego in October and November before it repositions to Galveston.
For families pairing the parks with a cruise, that means you could spend a few days at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, head south for a night or two by the water, and stay close to the cruise terminal the night before embarkation day. The cruise itself is still booked separately with Disney Cruise Line.
What To Know Before You Book
Breakfast is included at both hotels, and guests can use the Harbor & Sky Rooftop Lounge and Bar. Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner runs between Anaheim and San Diego if you’d rather not drive between the two stops.
Pricing for the San Diego nights hasn’t been shared. If you’re staying near the parks at an off-site hotel, keep in mind that Good Neighbor hotel shuttles move to a new Downtown Disney drop-off on November 2.
