The shuttle drop-off for Disneyland’s Toy Story parking lot is moving. Disneyland says the drop-off will stay in the East Esplanade but will shift slightly north, closer to Harbor Boulevard, as construction takes over more of the resort’s main entrance area. Disney has not given a date for the change.
When Buses Could Move
Theme park reporter Scott Gustin shared a map on Tuesday with the new drop-off area shaded in yellow and said construction on it will begin in the next few weeks. Once that work is finished, he said, buses will move to the new temporary location while construction continues on the eastern portion of the Esplanade.

The shuttles carry guests between the Toy Story lot and the Esplanade, so anyone parking there will be dropped at the new spot once it opens. Disney has not said how long the drop-off will stay in its temporary spot, or where shuttles will stop once the eastern Esplanade work is done.
More Walls In The Esplanade
The drop-off news comes as another round of construction walls has gone up in the Esplanade, this time between the former ticket booth site and the Porto’s construction. Guests run into the new barriers soon after stepping off the tram from the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures, or when walking in from World of Disney and the Downtown Disney District.
Disney warns that walls “may result in temporary walkway adjustments to and from the theme park main entrances.” Disney also says the East Security screening area will temporarily shift onto the land where the east ticket booths stood, a plan first shared last week. The booths came down earlier this month, and walk-up ticket sales moved temporarily to the booths near Disneyland’s entrance that also handles Lost and Found, before moving to the ticket booths at the west end of the Esplanade.
Disney describes the construction as taking place in the eastern portion of the Esplanade and says it “may temporarily impact how Guests move through the theme park entrance area.” No completion date has been announced for the entrance-area work as a whole, and the security relocation is also described only as temporary.
The work is tied to the new parking structure and transportation hub east of Harbor Boulevard, which broke ground in August on the Manchester lot. Plans call for roughly 6,000 parking spaces, security screening at the new structure and a pedestrian bridge over Harbor Boulevard. Until that project is further along, guests arriving by shuttle, tram or on foot should expect the path into the parks to keep changing.
