Disney has revealed Fanniversary Frenzy, a run of merchandise collections built around films and series hitting milestone anniversaries in 2026, debuting at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event later this month.
The collections were unveiled through the Disney Parks Blog, which describes ten milestone anniversaries but details only nine collections. Those nine span six decades of output, from Dumbo in 1941 to The Princess Diaries and Atlantis: The Lost Empire in 2001, with the anniversaries themselves running from a quarter century to 85 years.
Which Anniversaries Are Being Marked
The headline numbers are substantial. Dumbo turns 85. Alice in Wonderland reaches 75 and 101 Dalmatians 65. The Muppet Show hits 50, The Fox and the Hound 45, Beauty and the Beast 35 and The Hunchback of Notre Dame 30. Both The Princess Diaries and Atlantis: The Lost Empire, released within months of each other in 2001, reach 25.
It is an unusually broad slate for a single merchandise push, mixing Walt Disney Animation Studios classics with a live action teen comedy and a Muppets television series. Disney has not said which tenth property makes up the difference between its own count and the collections it has actually shown.
What Is Actually In Them
The Princess Diaries assortment is anchored by a Mia Thermopolis limited edition doll, presented with her cat Fat Louie, alongside a Grove High School backpack and a replica of Mia’s diary with its embossed detailing and lock. The Alice in Wonderland range leans pastel and takes its cue from the Queen of Hearts and croquet, with a wristlet, an adult ear headband, a crossbody bag, a bow hair clip and a zip jacket carrying a Royal Croquet Club crest on the back.
Also in the Alice collection are an artisan plush doll, a Cheshire Cat sound and motion interactive figure and an anniversary mug. The Dumbo line runs to plush, including a Dumbo and Timothy Mouse set with the elephant’s oversized ears, circus clown hat and satin collar. Hunchback gets a Dooney & Bourke tote and an Esmeralda limited edition doll, and 101 Dalmatians a Roger and Anita doll set.
Three Ways To Buy, In Order
The sequence matters more than usual here. Select pieces from the Alice in Wonderland and Hunchback of Notre Dame collections go on sale first at D23 Day at Disneyland Resort on August 13, a day before the main event opens.
The full range then arrives at the D23 Marketplace inside the Anaheim Convention Center from August 14 through 16, while supplies last. Anything left goes online through DisneyStore.com’s D23 event page starting August 17 at 8:00 AM Pacific.
That third window is the one worth watching for anyone not attending. Event exclusives have a history of selling out on the show floor before general release, and the limited edition dolls in particular are the sort of item that rarely survives to the online drop. D23 runs August 14 through 16, with panel reservations having closed back in July.
