Gordon Ramsay At The Carnaby Opens Tonight At Downtown Disney

The wait is over. Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby opens to guests tonight, Monday, July 13, in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort. The surprise soft opening marks the celebrity chef’s first full service restaurant at a Disney property, and it arrives as the marquee addition to the district’s ongoing west end transformation.

Swinging ’60s London Comes To Anaheim

First announced by Disney as a collaboration between Chef Ramsay and the creators of Earl of Sandwich, The Carnaby sits directly above the new Earl of Sandwich location and draws its inspiration from London’s famous Carnaby Street at the height of the 1960s cultural revolution. The roughly 175 seat gastropub features three distinct dining environments, including lively social dining spaces, more intimate rooms for private gatherings, and an expansive terrace overlooking the district with views of the Disneyland fireworks on select nights. Curated artwork, a statement mural, and a soundtrack of British Invasion hits complete the theme, with live music planned for select evenings.

What Is On The Menu

The menu leads with Chef Ramsay’s signature Beef Wellington ($73), served with potato puree, fresh herb salad, and red wine demi. Other mains include Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips with triple cooked chips and mushy peas ($33), Bangers and Mash ($29), Cottage Pie with beef short rib and potato crust ($38), Chickpea Tikka Masala ($29), and The Carnaby Wagyu Burger ($25). A USDA Prime Rib Trolley rolls through the dining room with a 12 ounce thick cut ($68) alongside Yorkshire pudding, and a grill section offers filet, skirt steak, NY strip, and salmon. Desserts include Sticky Toffee Pudding ($15) and an OREO Cheesecake ($15).

The cocktail list leans playful, with a Spirulina Negroni ($22), a Peach and Basil Old Fashioned topped with peach cotton candy ($21), and a Salted Caramel Espresso Martini ($20), plus a full slate of boozeless cocktails, wines by the glass, and British draft beers like Fuller’s London Pride. A kids menu keeps things simple at $16 per entree with fries or fruit.
