After months of watching construction walls, fans finally have their first real look inside one of Downtown Disney’s most anticipated new restaurants. Disneyland Resort has shared the first interior images of Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, and the swinging ’60s London vibe is on full display.
A First Look At The Dining Room
According to Laughing Place, Disney revealed the restaurant’s interior on July 9, showing off dark woodwork, plush green velvet seating, brass light fixtures, and framed artwork that nods to London. Large windows overlook Downtown Disney, giving the upscale space a bright and lively feel without tipping into stuffy formality. Outside, bold orange front doors and new signage above the entrance make the two-story venue hard to miss.
Disney also shared a first look at some of the menu items guests can expect, including Chef Ramsay’s legendary Beef Wellington and a decadent sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The restaurant is built above the recently opened permanent Earl of Sandwich location on the district’s west end.
Cool Britannia Comes To Downtown Disney
Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby draws its inspiration from London’s famous Carnaby Street during the height of the 1960s cultural revolution, complete with plush interiors, iconic British pop art, and a soundtrack of British Invasion rock bands. The venue features three distinct dining environments, including a stylish outdoor terrace and a lively bar, and select evenings will bring live music that keeps the ’60s energy swinging after dark.
Disney has not yet announced an exact opening date, but with the dining room looking nearly finished and exterior signage installed, the debut feels imminent. The restaurant is one of the biggest additions to a Downtown Disney District that has been steadily transforming, a shift we tracked when Big Boi Lumpia opened as The Carnaby neared its debut.
